Seasons At Home

Write about your dream home.

Daily writing prompt

We have always lived in the Midwest, USA. The seasons inspire poems. I am grateful for our old home, and gardens with perennial plants and flowers.

small book

Something on your “to-do list” that never gets done.

Daily writing prompt

I have postponed a chapbook a few times. There is no hurry though. Our previous book, Quiet Christmas Poetry, began as a blog and then became a large print chapbook in 2014. The book is still shared and read.

Books and Libraries

What would you do if you won the lottery?

Daily writing prompt

Many important ways to help and encourage. For this site, I think about literacy programs, and books for all ages. And good to support libraries in general.

books to read

What books do you want to read?

Daily Prompt

I do not remember learning how to read, but remember well the wonder of books, libraries, and gradually growing my own collection. I read the Bible, poetry books and journals. novels, and memoirs. Examples of authors are Jan Karon, Luci Shaw, and Ted Kooser. Many wonderful writers I could mention!
